What this is all about…
If you’re here, then you already know about the popular trend of overlanding. If you haven’t, then let me enlighten you. You have most likely experienced it in one way or another. It’s just a fancy way of saying going camping out of your offroad capable vehicle while being fully self sufficient along the way.
As somewhat hinted earlier, we have all experienced one form overlanding. Looking around at all of the overlanding rigs, one thing was clear. A larger vehicle was preferable, like a Jeep Wrangler JK, JL, or even the new Jeep Gladiator pick up truck. The goal of this website is to address the shorter wheelbase Jeeps, like the YJ’s and TJ’s.
My Jeep Wrangler TJ build has been in the works for many years, but only recently have I started to look at turning it into an overlanding capable TJ.
From regearing to a complete engine change, I have done it all and consider myself somewhat of a knowledgeable gearhead. I’m looking to document all the blood sweat and tears I have and will be putting into this project, as well as share my experience & knowledge of all things Jeep upgrades and overlanding… so stay tuned.
